Farrior's

Farrior's has received some new art pieces- and they are gorgeous! The
large still life canvas has great form and will work well in a neutral setting or with deep wall tones. The massive frame on the portrait piece is awesome...but I think my favorite is the pair of painted daisies- the picture doesn't do them justice. They won't last long!

Cavenaugh's

Cavenaugh's has a beautiful Lenox Christmas pattern on sale now! "Winter Greetings" has a beautiful handpainted look- the 12 piece set is a service for 4- perfect for casual get togethers throughout the Winter season. It is regularly priced at $228.00- but is on sale now for $140.00!

Congratulations!
If you missed Christmas at Twilight be sure to take some time one evening to travel along Main St and check out all the shops. They are all decked out for the holidays and with the lighted trees downtown looks so pretty. It will get you in the holiday mood if you need a little help!

Downtown Map Now Online

Not sure where something is? A Downtown map is now posted on my Discover Downtown Wallace website...click on the link in the left hand column here to go to the map. It is also available in brochure form, and I hope to have those available at local restaurants, hotels and real estate offices soon. The current version has retail stores & restaurants numbered and has services listed- I hope to have a second version soon with services also mapped...you don't realize how many businesses there are downtown till you start a project like this! If you are interested in having the brochure available to your customers, leave a comment, or call me at 910-285-8300.

I got a GREAT haircut!

Every time I've gotten a bad haircut, I've let anyone who would listen know about it... Getting a GOOD haircut is a reason to set off fireworks and shout! It's something that stays with you- I remember a great haircut I got in Scranton Pa when I was 19 like it was yesterday! Every hair fell into place perfectly. I've asked people for recommendations- but they say the best way to pick a stylist is to look at their hair- and every time I've seen Kay, her hair always looks great...so with fear and trembling I finally worked up the nerve to try someone new. It's not a fancy cut- a short bob with some layering- but it is executed perfectly! It looked great the first day, but the true test was when I washed and styled it myself- it fell into place perfectly! Now a couple of weeks later it just looks better and better and I haven't had a bad hair day yet. And compliments- you know there is nothing better than someone complimenting you on your hair...well, they could tell me I look younger and that would win hands down! Kay Sanderson has been cutting hair for 40 years- and her experience shows! Her shop is open Tues-Fri from 8 am till she gets done. Appointments are best- but you can always call Kay at 285-3927 and see if she can fit you in- and she does take some walk-ins when she can, which is great because I'm the impulsive type.
